The Law Commission of Bangladesh on Monday submitted its Annual Report 2025 to President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban.
Commission Chairman former Appellate Division Justice Zinat Ara led the delegation, accompanied by members Justice Shamim Hasnain and Professor Nayeema Haque, a Bangabhaban spokesman said.
During the meeting, the chairman briefed the president on key aspects of the report and the commission’s overall activities.
The president urged the commission to take necessary initiatives to update existing laws and regulations so that they better serve the people.
Secretaries concerned from Bangabhaban and the Law Commission were present.
