Daffodil AI, a joint innovation initiative of Daffodil Group and Daffodil International University (DIU), has achieved significant recognition at the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026, with six of its innovation projects selected among the Top 50 Innovations at the fair.
The three-day event, organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology to showcase the country’s scientific, technological, and innovation capabilities, brought together innovative projects and technology-driven solutions from across Bangladesh, reads a press release.
Daffodil AI participated with the integrated AI, research, and innovation capabilities of Daffodil Group and DIU, presenting solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and automation technologies designed to address practical challenges in disaster management, healthcare, road infrastructure, and smart automation.
The fair was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Following the inauguration, the prime minister visited the Daffodil stall and was briefed on various innovative technologies and research-based projects being showcased.
Daffodil Group Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University Dr Md Sabur Khan and Daffodil Group CEO Dr Md Nuruzzaman were present during the visit.
Faculty members, researchers, students, and officials of DIU, alongside senior officials from different government agencies, were also present.
The six Daffodil AI projects selected among the Top 50 Innovations are- “Dual-Mode FR Vehicle”: A rapid firefighting and rescue vehicle, “HOMEPITAL NEXUS”: A healthcare technology initiative, “PikoBot”: A desktop companion robot, “Pav Analytics”: An AI-powered road damage detection system, “IoT Smart Automation”: A smart automation technology initiative, “The Arbor voice for mothers”: A technology initiative focused on maternal healthcare.
These selected projects demonstrate the practical application of AI, IoT, robotics, and automation in addressing real-world challenges.
Alongside the six recognised projects, Daffodil AI showcased practical applications of AI in education and institutional management through platforms including AI Professor, Student360, Alumni360, Perfect HR, LeadershipOS, and RegistrarOS.
These platforms demonstrate how AI can support education management, decision-making, institutional accountability, workforce development, and human resource management.
The pavilion also featured robotics, IoT, computer vision, automation, and integrated software-hardware technologies, highlighting the potential of Connected Education, Workforce Intelligence, Institutional Accountability, and Physical AI to support safer, more effective, and future-ready applications of artificial intelligence across education, institutions, and industry.
In addition to the projects showcased at the fair, Daffodil AI stated that around 40 to 50 further innovation projects involving AI, robotics, automation, and other technology-based solutions are currently under development at different stages.
These projects are being progressively developed and implemented with the aim of expanding the use of technology in education, industry, healthcare, infrastructure, and institutional management.

By combining technology infrastructure, software development, research, student innovation, and skilled human resource development, the initiative aims to transform innovation into practical technology solutions.
Its participation in the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026, together with the recognition of six projects among the Top 50 Innovations, highlights its growing focus on research-driven and practical technology development, while creating opportunities for students, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, and visitors to explore emerging technologies and learn about their real-world applications.
