Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC will give away 20 motorcycles to remittance customers under a Ramadan campaign launched in partnership with Ria Money Transfer, offering one bike every banking day through a digital raffle draw.
The offer will run from 19 February to 18 March 2026, with customers sending cash remittances to the bank through Ria Money Transfer eligible for the draw from Sunday to Thursday. In addition to motorcycles, remittance recipients will receive key rings as common gifts during the campaign period.
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Managing Director Md Omar Faruk Khan inaugurated the Islami Bank–Ria Money Transfer Remittance Festival on Tuesday at Islami Bank Tower as chief guest, according to a press release.
Ria Money Transfer Managing Director and Senior Regional Director for India and South Asia Dr Emil Raban attended as guest of honour. Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Additional Managing Directors Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Majumder and Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim spoke as special guests at the event.
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam presided over the programme. Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh Country Manager Rashedul Islam Talukdar also addressed the gathering. Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Head of Overseas Banking Division Mohammad Shahadat Hossain delivered the vote of thanks.
Senior executives from the bank’s head office attended the ceremony in person, while zonal heads, branch managers and sub-branch in-charges joined the event virtually.
