Commercial Bank of Ceylon (CBC) PLC has recently extended support to Nari Unnayan Samity’s (NUSA) special children care and education hub, enhancing learning tools, rehabilitation facilities and community awareness initiatives for over 50 children with disabilities and their families.
CBC handed over a cheque under its education CSR programme to NUSA delegates at an event at the bank’s head office, said a press release on Saturday.
The partnership includes rehabilitation and physiotherapy support, assistive learning and educational support, and community awareness and parental support programmes.
Deputy CEO Haily Algewatte and Senior AGM Shakir Khusru attended from CBC. NUSA was represented by Deputy Executive Director Marina Ali and other senior officials.
