Walton has launched its nationwide “Digital Campaign Season-25”, introducing customer rewards under the ‘Walton Houseful Offer’ ahead of the winter season.
Shatarupa Biswas, a housewife from Khulna, became the first winner of the campaign on 17 October after purchasing a refrigerator from Walton Plaza at Dakbangla in Khulna. Her prizes included a refrigerator, air conditioner, smart television, washing machine, microwave oven, gas hob, rice cooker, blender, ceiling fan, rechargeable fan, lights, room heater, smartphone and soundbar, among other household products, says press release on Saturday.
Under the campaign, customers who purchase Walton refrigerators, televisions, air conditioners, washing machines or BLDC fans and complete digital registration will have the opportunity to win a houseful of free products. Other rewards include foreign trips, cashback and guaranteed gifts. The offers will run until 31 December.
The campaign was inaugurated at a ceremony at the Walton Corporate Office in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
Walton officials said, “A satisfied customer does more than purchase a product. They develop long-term confidence in the brand and share their positive experiences with others. The attractive rewards, including a houseful of free products and foreign trips, reflect our commitment to recognising and rewarding that trust.”
Officials said customers purchasing eligible products from any Walton Plaza or authorised distributor showroom would have their names, mobile phone numbers and product barcodes registered digitally. A computerised system will notify customers of their rewards via return SMS, after which showroom authorities will hand over the prizes.
Walton is also developing a digital customer database to make after-sales services faster and more automated, allowing customers to access warranty services from any service centre even if they lose their physical warranty cards.
