The 48th founding anniversary of BRB Cable Industries Limited, one of the well-known enterprises in the country’s cable manufacturing sector, has been celebrated.
To mark the occasion, a discussion meeting, exchange of greetings, and a Milad and Doa Mahfil were held on Friday morning at the conference hall of the company’s canteen building in Kushtia.
Presided over by BRB Group Chairman Md Mozibar Rahman, the programme commenced at 10am with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
Managing Director of BRB Cable Industries Limited Parvez Rahman, Selima Begum, Tania Afroz, and the organisation’s future torchbearer Master Tasfikur Rahman were present as special guests.
In addition, officers and employees from various tiers of the organisation took part in the event.
Welcome speeches were delivered at the programme by the Convenor of the Anniversary Celebration Committee and General Manager (Operations) Enamul Haque, Director (Operations) Subir Kumar Nandi, Chairman Md Mozibar Rahman, and Managing Director Parvez Rahman.
BRB Cable has been conducting business with distinction and reputation over a prolonged period.
Alongside earning medals and accolades in the import and export sectors, the entrepreneur concerned has been recognised multiple times as a Commercially Important Person (CIP).
Moreover, the company has garnered various domestic and international honours. The anniversary event was organised highlighting the firm’s long journey and achievements in the nation’s cable industry.
In the final segment of the programme, a Milad and Doa Mahfil was held seeking the welfare of the country and the nation, the prosperity of the enterprise, and the well-being of all concerned.
The supplication was led by Saifuddin Ahmed, senior Pesh Imam of the central mosque of BRB Cable Industries Limited.
Following the Milad, tabarruk was distributed among the attending officers, employees, workers, and guests. According to information provided by the organisers, the tabarruk was prepared on this occasion using approximately 48 maunds of goat meat.
