Speaking as the chief guest at inauguration of the “CGS Business Summit 2026” on Thursday in Chittagong Club Auditorium, President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mohammad Amirul Haque said Chittagong Chamber remains committed to fostering new-generation entrepreneurs for the broader economic development of the country.
Mohammed Almas Shimul, additional managing director of GPH Ispat, and Wasif Ahmed Salam, director of Asian group were present as special guests at the event.
Among others, Ruhbaina Mahmud Chowdhury, principal of CGS Upper, along with organizers Adiyat Mahfuz, Safwan Sajid, and other representatives, were also present. Around 200 students from Chattogram and across Bangladesh participated in the summit.
The summit features a three-day business idea competition centered around the theme “Design Your Future,” focusing on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.
It offers participating students access to 12+ mentors, 4 experiential workshops, and direct networking opportunities with investors and entrepreneurs.
Participants will gain practical business knowledge and mentorship while pitching their ideas across various business sectors. The competition features a total prize pool of Tk1 lakh across 3 stages.
