A high-level German delegation visited the Kanchpur Plant of Heidelberg Materials Bangladesh PLC, reviewing the company’s production facilities, sustainability initiatives and safety measures.
The delegation included German Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Rüdiger Lotz, Member of the German Parliament and Head of Delegation Nicklas Kappe, other members of the German Parliament and senior officials from the German Embassy.
During the visit, the guests toured the plant’s advanced machinery, international-standard production processes, eco-friendly initiatives and safety measures, Heidelberg Materials Bangladesh said in a press release.
The delegation appreciated Heidelberg Materials Bangladesh’s contribution to the country’s construction sector through the use of German technology and sustainable practices.
Representing Heidelberg Materials Bangladesh PLC, Sameer Zakaria, Sales and Marketing Director; Emdadul Haque FCA, Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO); and Mohammad Alamgir, HR Director, along with other senior officials, were present during the visit.
The company said it remains committed to supporting Bangladesh’s modern infrastructure development through sustainable innovation and German engineering standards.
