The Eid edition of ‘Ityadi’ is once again set to raise expectations, with popular actors Sariful Razz and Sabila Nur appearing in a specially curated performance for the festive broadcast. A staple of Bangladeshi television for more than two decades, the programme continues to draw cross-generational audiences and frequently trends online.
This year’s Eid special will include a visually choreographed group song, exploring themes of moral decline and social contradiction. The performance reflects on how values taught in childhood often fade amid the complexities of adult life.
The lyrics of the track have been written by veteran lyricist Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, with music arranged by Mehedi. Rajib and Tanjina Ruma have lent their voices to the track, while choreography has been overseen by Mamun, featuring the show’s regular dance ensemble.
Produced by Fagun Audio Vision, the segment was filmed on January 24 at an elaborate outdoor set at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.
According to the production team, despite demanding schedules, the artistes dedicated time to rehearsals to ensure a polished presentation.
Written, directed and hosted by Hanif Sanket, the Eid special of Ityadi will be broadcast on Bangladesh Television at 8:00 pm on the day after Eid, following the Bangla news bulletin.
