The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division on Thursday accorded a farewell reception to Secretary Kazi Anwar Hossain following his transfer.
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Adviser Faqir Mahbub Anam attended the programme as chief guest and praised Kazi Anwar Hossain’s administrative leadership and contribution to the country’s ICT sector.
Speakers highlighted his role in advancing the ICT Division’s activities and strategic priorities during his tenure and wished him success in his future responsibilities.
In his farewell remarks, Kazi Anwar Hossain thanked officers and employees of the division for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure.
The programme was chaired by ICT Division Acting Secretary Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan. Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Adviser Rehan Asif Asad attended as special guest.
Senior officials of the ICT Division and its affiliated organisations were also present.
