Russian attacks in Ukraine have killed at least six people and damaged Kyiv’s Northern Bridge, suspending traffic and causing tailbacks for a third consecutive day, officials said.

The strike damaged the bridge’s road surface and trolleybus cables, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko said.

No casualties were reported in the bridge attack. Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed responsibility, saying the bridge was used for troop movements and military cargo logistics, reports AP.

The attack followed Russian strikes that forced the full or partial closure of three of Kyiv’s six road bridges over the Dnipro River.

Meanwhile, Moldova’s President Maia Sandu said the war was “dangerously reaching” her country after five Russian air attack weapons, including Banderol missiles and drones, violated Moldovan airspace and exploded there.
