The Chakaria branch of Global Islami Bank officially began its operations at its new address, Noor Majid Market, Arakan Road, Chakaria Municipality, Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar, from September 30.
Previously, the branch was operating from Chakaria System Complex in Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar.
Mohammad Shahnoor Alam, head of Chattogram zone at the bank, inaugurated the branch’s formal activities as the chief guest. Senior officials from the bank’s head office, branch manager, staff from various levels, invited distinguished guests, and customers attended the ceremony.
It was expressed at the event that Global Islami Bank will provide Shariah-compliant Islamic banking services nationwide with advanced technology and trusted banking solutions.
