President Md Shahabuddin has exchanged greetings with members of the Hindu community on the occasion of the Durga Puja and Bijoya Dashami.
The president exchanged greetings at Bangabhaban on Thursday. People from the Hindu community participated in this greeting ceremony, which was held from 11am to 12pm.
During the exchange of greetings, the president inquired about their well-being and wished for their overall prosperity.
Those present at the time included Adviser to the Ministry of Religious Affairs AFM Khalid Hossain, Adviser to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Professor Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Home Secretary Nasimul Gani, along with senior officials from various embassies and the President’s Office.
