Professor Mohammad Nazmuzzaman Bhuiyan has been appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification on Wednesday, confirming his appointment.
According to the notification, President appointed Nazmuzzaman Bhuiyan as chairman of the PSC under Article 138(1) of the Constitution, in the public interest.
Under Article 139(1), he will serve for five years from the date he assumes office or until he turns 65, whichever comes earlier.
