Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 29 individuals linked to the Awami League (AL) and its affiliated bodies from different parts of the capital.
Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter on Friday.
Talebur Rahman said, “DMP arrested 29 persons from flash processions carried out by the AL and its affiliated organisations in various parts of the city, whose activities are currently banned.”
A press briefing has been scheduled later this afternoon at the DMP Media Centre on Minto Road, where further details will be disclosed.
