To celebrate the academic achievements and success of the students of Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) hosts the ‘Daffodil Technical Institute Graduation Celebration 2026’ today on September 05, 2026 at 71 Auditorium of Daffodil Plaza in the capital. Farida Yasmin, Director General (Additional Secretary) of the Directorate of Technical Education, attended the program as the chief guest. While Engr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Chairman of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB); Engr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Controller of Examinations; and Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer of Daffodil Group were present as the special guests. Presided over by Moazzem Hossain Rubel, Acting Principal of Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI), the event was also attended by Engineer Md. Alauddin, Director (Industry and Training Coordination); and Rathindra Nath Das, Executive Director of the Daffodil Group’s institutions affiliated with the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

In the Graduation Ceremony a total of 150 students has been conferred upon diploma degrees and among them 20 best result-oriented diploma holders were awarded ‘Merit Gold Medal’, 01was awarded Chairman’s Award in different categories and 2 students were awarded Successful Alumni Award.

While addressing among the students Farida Yeasmin said, Graduation Ceremony ends your institutional education. Now it’s time to use your acquired education for the welfare of the country and the society. If the education you have acquired is of no use to the society and the country, it will be a great injustice and a great waste of the concerted efforts of your parents, teachers and the institution. So, he urged the students to take a pledge today that you will try to give back to the country multiples of what you have received and contribute to the formation of New Bangladesh. He expressed hope that Daffodil Polytechnic Institute will continue its development and progress.

Engr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Chairman, BTEB said, that Future Bangladesh will be a Bangladesh of skills. At present, there is a huge demand for skilled workers at home and abroad, especially in Japan. He said, “We are fortunate as a nation that we can meet this demand by creating a large skilled workforce by utilizing our 65% demographic dividend.”

While addressing Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman said, Daffodil Technical Institute has catalyzed innovation in education systems and ensured total digital transformation of its academic systems. We are taking all efforts to develop the modern flagship institution, remarkably different in its devotion to access and equity; to the quality of its teaching, learning, research and to meeting national and regional socio-economic needs.”, he added. He also said, Daffodil Technical Institute has created innovative courses, bolstered academia-industry relationships, expanded international collaboration, integrated innovation and creativity into its educational systems, placed the utmost importance on extra-curricular activities and ensured complete digital transformation of all its delivery systems. By assuring that a Z Generation would have access to all necessary support services and facilities, we attempted to create a comprehensive educational ecosystem.
