Raihan Rafi’s highly anticipated film ‘Noor’ is nearing release and its first song, ‘Shopno’, premiered on the evening of 2 December.
The track, exploring themes of longing, fear of loss and quiet heartbreak, sees Arifin Shuvoo and Jannatul Ferdous Oishi portraying a romantic couple. A tender on-screen kiss has particularly caught the audience’s attention.
Since its release, Shopno has generated significant buzz online, with clips circulating on social media and fans praising the pair’s chemistry. Earlier, on November 25, the Shuvoo-Oishi duo sparked speculation about their relationship with separate posts featuring romantic captions and pictures together. While many assumed the stars were dating in real life, the song clarified that their intimacy was part of the film.
Shopno is sung by Imran Mahmudul, with lyrics by Shafiq Tuhin. Director Raihan Rafi describes Noor as “a love story with a different flavour,” promising audiences plenty of on-screen chemistry between Shuvoo and Miss World Bangladesh Oishi.
The film will soon be released on the OTT platform Bioscope Plus.
