Content creator Iftekhar Rafsan, popularly known as Rafsan the Chotobhai, has expressed support for Salman Muqtadir following the attack and vandalism at his studio in Dhaka’s ECB Chattar area on Saturday night.
Rafsan recalled following Salman since his early days as a content creator and said he had watched him grow from his first 50,000 subscribers into one of the country’s biggest digital personalities.
“He is an extremely calm person. Seeing what happened makes me very angry,” Rafsan wrote on social media.
He praised Salman for building his studio through years of hard work and dedication and encouraged him not to be discouraged by the incident.
“Brother, this is nothing. They do not know Salman Muqtadir. You will become much bigger, InshaAllah. No one can stop you,” Rafsan wrote.
Salman had shared footage of the damaged studio on Facebook after the incident, showing broken furniture, equipment and other belongings.
Police have since detained three people and said the incident was linked to a land dispute involving the property, adding that Salman’s studio was not the intended target.
