Komal Rani Swarnkar has responded to the ongoing speculation surrounding her reported relationship with Govinda after recent remarks by the actor’s wife, Sunita Ahuja. Komal rejected allegations that she was responsible for problems in Govinda and Sunita’s marriage, reports NDTV.
In an Instagram Story, Komal claimed that no one could be a “homebreaker” in a marriage that was already facing problems. She also compared the situation to people believing a claim without checking the facts themselves.
Komal further questioned Sunita’s decision to discuss her personal pain publicly. She alleged that a man could be subjected to constant mental harassment, prevented from working and isolated from others.
She also questioned whether the public statements were an expression of pain or part of a “carefully thought out conspiracy”.
Continuing her remarks, Komal said she did not believe a devoted wife would treat her husband in such a manner. She also questioned whether women who behave this way were acting out of emotional distress or deliberately using public sympathy.
Komal ended her post by urging Sunita not to use her name to promote what she described as an “agenda”. She also wrote that she hoped God would protect decent men from “such cunning women”.
Rumours about Govinda and Komal began earlier this year after the two were spotted together at Mumbai airport. They have since made several public appearances, including a visit to Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja.
Govinda and Sunita have been married since 1987. The couple have two children, daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan Ahuja.
