Miley Cyrus is set to wed again, announcing her engagement to musician Maxx Morando, her partner of four years. The couple quietly became engaged in early November, sources told Us Weekly, with the news confirmed on December 2 after Cyrus showcased a custom Jacquie Aiche ring at the Hollywood premiere of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’.
Cyrus, 32, revealed in 2023 that she never expected to marry again, but Morando changed her perspective. “They have a really healthy and private relationship,” an insider said. The couple first met on a blind date and have kept a low profile, though Morando collaborated on her visual album Something Beautiful, appearing in the music video for ‘End of the World’ and contributing to the film adaptation.
“I’ve always worked with the people that I love. Maxx just inspires me so much,” Cyrus told Harper’s Bazaar last year. Morando has also been a constant presence at major events, supporting Cyrus at the Grammys, Oscars and SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert.
Cyrus was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth. The pair tied the knot in 2018 but divorced the following year, finalising the split in January 2020. She later dated Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson before her long-term romance with Morando began.
