Popular actress Fatema Hira is winning praise for her performance in the audience-favourite series Saheb, where she stars alongside veteran actress Sabina Yesmin as mother and daughter.
Hira celebrated her birthday yesterday, but she spent the day working. She was busy shooting for a drama titled Halka, directed by Maidul Rakib.
Meanwhile, Saheb, directed by the Mirza Entertainment team, has already received a strong response on YouTube. Hira and Sabina Yesmin play the roles of daughter and mother in the series.
On Hira’s birthday yesterday, Sabina Yesmin wished her on social media. “Happy birthday, Hira. You are a very good actress. I pray that the light of your acting spreads everywhere. Lots of good wishes and love for you,” she wrote.
Sabina Yesmin was also busy with a drama shoot yesterday at Laboni Shooting House in Uttara. Titled Best Friend Jokhon Bou, the drama is being directed by Jamrul Raju.
Hira said she was touched by the birthday wishes she received. “Yesterday was my birthday. Many people wished me. I was truly emotional to receive so much love. Sabina Apa and I play mother and daughter in a series called Saheb. I am also receiving a good response for my performance in it,” she said.
“Honestly, Sabina Apa is someone I can rely on and share everything with. She is very affectionate towards me. She is a versatile actress and extremely supportive. I feel very comfortable when she is on set. I pray that Allah keeps her healthy and well,” Hira added.
Hira is also working in Mahmud Hasan Shikder’s television series Dalchhut Pakhirা, which will air on ATN Bangla.
Sabina Yesmin will work today on a drama titled Duniya Takar Golam at a shooting house in Uttara. Saidur Rahman Sabuj is directing the production.
Sabina Yesmin ’s birthday falls on 17 January.
