Comedian Samay Raina has responded to online wedding rumours linking him with ’12th Fail’ actress Medha Shankr, turning the speculation into a joke about his upcoming India tour.
A social media post recently claimed that Samay and Medha were vacationing together and alleged that the comedian wanted to marry the actress “as soon as possible”. Neither has publicly confirmed a relationship.
Samay addressed the speculation through an Instagram story, tagging Medha and pointing out that his India tour is scheduled for December.
“December mai toh mera India tour hai @medhashankr sorry will have to postpone,” he wrote.
Medha reshared the post with laughing emojis, appearing to join Samay in poking fun at the reports. She later shared a meme on her Instagram story with the caption, “Me scrolling past all the baseless wedding rumours like.”
Speculation about the two has surfaced before. Medha recently appeared on the second season of Samay’s India’s Got Latent, where she joined Varun Dhawan and Sharon Verma on the panel.
Despite the renewed wedding rumours, neither Samay nor Medha has confirmed that they are dating or planning to marry.
