Urvashi Rautela’s team has claimed it is pursuing legal action against a Los Angeles-based artificial intelligence company over the alleged unauthorised use of her name, images and videos, writes Hindustan Times.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the team said it was seeking appropriate legal remedies, with damages currently being assessed at ₹7,000 crore. It also warned the company against using Rautela’s identity without permission.
Bollywood.AI and Hollywood.AI founder and CEO Sheeraz Hasan responded to the claim, calling it “ridiculous”. He said his companies represent the future of entertainment through AI films, vertical dramas and digital stars.
The dispute followed an interview in which Rautela was asked about Bollywood and artificial intelligence. Hasan criticised her response and urged her to learn more about AI’s potential impact on the entertainment industry.
Rautela made her Bollywood debut in 2013 with ‘Singh Saab The Great’ and later appeared in Telugu films and music numbers.
