A world of money, power, dominance and conflict built around the garment scrap trade is coming to the big screen with Cut-Piece (CUT-PIECE), which will hit cinemas on 16 October during the Durga Puja festivities.

Directed and produced by Iffat Jahan Mom, the film is produced under Black Pepper Films. It stars Shifat Amin Shuvo, Nanjiba Torsa, Imran Ahmed Sowdagar, Bappi Ashraf, Saiful Kabir and Elina Shammi, among others.

The story centres on the world that has grown around the garment scrap trade, exploring its money, power, dominance and conflicts. The film focuses on a familiar yet relatively underexplored business world in Bangladeshi cinema.
