Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are taking their real-life romance into darker territory on screen with their upcoming film Tu Hai Meri Kiran, which explores the line between love and obsession.
According to NDTV, the couple’s first look from the film has been unveiled, teasing an “obsessive” love story. The makers shared the poster with the caption, “Where would you draw the line between LOVE and OBSESSION?” The film will hit cinemas on 23 October 2026.
Sonakshi and Zaheer married in June 2024 after dating for seven years. They previously appeared together in Double XL. However, Tu Hai Meri Kiran marks their first feature film as leads since their marriage.
Written and directed by Karan Rawal, the film is produced by Vishal Rana under the banner of Echelon Productions. It is scheduled to release in cinemas on 23 October.
The couple had a simple, intimate wedding at their home. They held a civil ceremony under the Special Marriage Act, surrounded by close friends and family.
Later that evening, they hosted a grand reception for their industry friends. Images and videos from the celebration showed the couple enjoying the occasion with their guests.
Among the stars who attended the wedding reception were Salman Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari and Chunky Panday.
