A Sony Pictures release listing has fuelled speculation that ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2’ could reach cinemas in September 2027.
Industry tracking website The Numbers lists an untitled Sony Pictures film for a US release on 17 September 2027, with an international release set for 15 September.
Fans have linked the listing to the second ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ film because Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll distributed the first instalment internationally.
However, neither company nor anime studio ufotable has confirmed the connection.
The second film is currently in production, but Crunchyroll has yet to announce an official release date.
‘Infinity Castle’ is planned as a three-film adaptation of ‘Demon Slayer’s’ final arc. The first film arrived in 2025 and began streaming on Crunchyroll in July 2026.
The 2027 listing could also belong to another Sony and Crunchyroll project, including the upcoming ‘Solo Leveling’ film.
