Janata Bank PLC convened its Comilla Divisional Branch Managers’ Conference on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, at the Comilla Divisional Office to review branch operations and set new action plans, said a press release. Managing Director of the bank Md Mojibur Rahman attended the event as chief guest.
The conference was presided over by Umme Kulsum, General Manager of the Comilla Divisional Office, with Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman present as special guest and Head Office General Manager Mohammad Safayet Hossain attending as honoured guest. Executive officers from the Comilla Divisional Office and Area Office, along with branch managers from Comilla North and South, Brahmanbaria, and Chandpur areas, also participated.
During the conference, branch managers presented business performance and operational updates from their respective branches. Under the Managing Director’s guidance, action plans were determined to enhance branch efficiency and operational dynamism, said the press release.
The conference provided a platform for senior executives and branch managers to align strategic objectives, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure coordinated implementation of business initiatives across the division.
