Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) PLC brought together managers from its Barishal region on 2 October to set business strategies for branches and strengthen customer service as the lender seeks to reinforce its position in the banking industry.

The Strategic Conclave was held at a local hotel in Barishal in a hybrid format, with branch managers presenting their business plans and senior management providing guidance on customer service and meeting business targets, the bank said in a press release.

Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan, managing director and chief executive officer of Dutch-Bangla Bank, attended the programme as chief guest.

Khan said the bank had adopted various strategies to become the “Best Financial Solution Partner” and “the Trusted Partner” for its customers.

He highlighted several strategic priorities, including what the bank termed a “Client Caring Mentality”, aimed at ensuring service excellence.

Khan urged participants to contribute more effectively towards achieving the bank’s strategic objectives and strengthening its position in the industry.

Branch managers from the Barishal region presented their respective strategies at the conclave and assured management that they would work to achieve their business targets through improved customer service.

The bank’s senior management team also shared observations and provided guidance on strengthening customer service and meeting business targets.

Officials from branches and sub-branches, regional heads of Rocket and Agent Banking and ADC supervisors from the region joined the conclave online.
