Turaag Active, the activewear and lifestyle brand of Urmi Group, opened its fifth retail outlet at Adabor Ring Road in Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon, expanding its physical presence after four years of promoting active living through performance and lifestyle products.

The new outlet adds to Turaag Active’s stores at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex and Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka, Almas Point in Narayanganj and Sanmar in Chattogram, making its products more accessible to customers, the company said in a press release.

The inauguration was attended by Shamarukh Fakhruddin, Director of Urmi Group; Faiaz Rahman, Director of Urmi Group; Mohammad Nayeem Akhtar, COO of Turaag Active; and Ahmmad Monsur Rouf, COO of Operations and Sourcing at Wave Riders Limited.

Senior officials of Urmi Group, invited guests and representatives from various sectors also attended the event.

Over the past four years, Turaag Active has sought to promote an active lifestyle through products designed for everyday movement, running, training and fitness.

“Turaag Active’s goal goes beyond creating and selling activewear; it is also about encouraging people to embrace an active lifestyle as part of their everyday lives,” Shamarukh said.

She said being active was not limited to exercise but was an integral part of a healthy, confident and positive life.

Through world-class products as well as sports and community-focused initiatives, Turaag aims to encourage more people to adopt active living, she said.

“Every new outlet is another step towards bringing this sustainable, long-term vision closer to people,” Shamarukh said.

Alongside expanding its retail network, Turaag Active aims to reach more people across Bangladesh with its active-living message through sports and community-focused initiatives.
