ESGBridge and SAJ ImpactBLiss Limited have formed a partnership to jointly provide sustainability transition and reporting services to organisations in Bangladesh, combining advisory work with technical reporting and assurance preparation.
The memorandum of understanding took effect on 1 October, bringing together ESGBridge, the sustainability advisory service line of BetterStories Limited, and SAJ ImpactBLiss.
The partnership will focus on two areas: sustainability transition advisory and sustainability reporting, according to a press release.
Under the transition work, the firms will provide double-materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, transition strategy, training and organisational capacity building.
Their reporting services will cover readiness assessment, evidence development, report preparation and impact communication.
ESGBridge will lead front-end advisory work including impact materiality, stakeholder engagement, transition strategy, capacity building and impact communication, while SAJ ImpactBLiss will contribute expertise in financial materiality, sustainability reporting standards and assurance readiness.
The two firms said the aim is to help organisations treat sustainability as part of business operations rather than simply a reporting requirement, while strengthening internal capabilities and the evidence used to support disclosures.
“The organisations that will lead in the years ahead are the ones that treat sustainability as a way of running their business, not a reporting exercise,” BetterStories Founder and Managing Director Minhaz Anwar said.
He said credible sustainability communication must follow real organisational change and help businesses build resilience and stakeholder trust.
Meer Sajed-Ul-Basher, Chairman of SAJ ImpactBLiss, said the partnership would combine complementary expertise to turn sustainability commitments into action, strengthen practices and produce technically sound reporting that creates value for stakeholders.
ESGBridge works with garment and textile exporters, financial institutions, corporates and development programmes across areas including materiality assessment, stakeholder engagement, transition strategy, measurement and impact communication.
SAJ ImpactBLiss provides technical, strategic and capacity-building support on sustainability, responsible business and reporting, including work on processes, governance, information quality and reporting outcomes.
