The General Science and Technology (GST) admission test for the 2025-26 academic year will begin on 27 March of next year. The admission test for the ‘C’ unit will be held on that day. After that, the admission tests for the other two units will be held with a one-week break in between.
This decision was taken at a meeting held on Thursday afternoon at the conference room of the University Grants Commission (UGC) building located in Agargaon, Dhaka.
According to the decision of the meeting, the GST admission tests for next year will be held on 27 March, 3 April, and 10 April. The ‘C’ unit admission test will be held on 27 March.
Furthermore, the ‘B’ unit admission test will be on 3 April, and the ‘A’ unit admission test will be on 10 April. However, the application start date will be decided in the next meeting.
At the meeting, UGC member in charge of public universities, Tanjim Uddin Khan, delivered the welcome speech. At that time, the Vice-Chancellors of the universities in the GST, along with Secretary Md Fakhrul Islam, were present.
