Chief Adviser’s Press Wing unveiled a new promotional photo card on Monday, calling on citizens to vote “Yes” in referendum scheduled for 12 February.
The photo card carries the direct appeal: “Cast your seal on ‘Yes’ in the referendum and permanently close the path for the return of fascism.”
This follows a similar card released just a day prior, on Sunday, which urged compatriots to “cast ‘Yes’ vote in the referendum to build a dreamt Bangladesh.”
Officials from the Press Wing outlined that this forms part of a structured campaign, with a total of eight such photo cards slated for serial release between 11 January and 18 January.
The stated aim of the initiative is twofold: to enhance public understanding of the referendum process and to actively encourage widespread voter participation.
Parallel to this publicity drive, the government is rolling out extensive nationwide programmes designed to raise awareness about the vote.
As part of this grassroots strategy, field-level government officers, religious figures, and representatives from non-governmental organisations are undergoing training.
This capacity-building effort is intended to equip them to foster a constructive and informed perspective on the referendum at the community level.
