Acclaimed Bollywood actor, filmmaker and singer Farhan Akhtar has made his much-anticipated Hollywood debut. He will portray legendary sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar in ‘The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event’.
This role marks a significant milestone in Farhan’s career, broadening his presence on the international stage. He takes on the role of Pandit Ravi Shankar, whose close collaboration with George Harrison profoundly influenced the Beatles’ iconic sound and introduced Indian classical music to the world.
Directed by Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes, the ambitious project will chronicle the story of the Beatles from the perspective of each band member, offering a fresh and immersive take on the lives of one of the most influential musical acts in history.
