Bangladesh Police FC and Mohammedan SC secured dominant victories on Saturday as the Bangladesh Football League returned from the international break with a dramatic goal fest. Round three produced 32 goals across six matches over two days, pushing the overall scoring average past five goals per game.

The goal flurry built on earlier momentum in the campaign, where round one yielded 15 goals and round two produced 22. Fortis FC and Bashundhara Kings set the tone on Friday, claiming 6-0 and 7-0 victories respectively. Police FC and Mohammedan SC continued the momentum on Saturday with two ruthless displays.

At Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur, Bangladesh Police FC established the largest winning margin of the domestic season by routing Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club 8-0. Senegalese forward Rassoul Ba led the charge with a hat-trick. MS Bablu scored twice, while Rabbi Hossain Rahul, Manik Molla, and Arman Faysal Akash added one goal each.

They have scored 12 goals without conceding a single goal across their opening three fixtures.
