Actor Mosharraf Karim and Neelanjona Neela have teamed up again for a new television drama, ‘Jamai Mane Jontrona’.
Written by Yousuf Ali Khokon and directed by Sarkar Rokon, the drama has completed shooting and will premiere on a YouTube channel soon.
Neela has previously worked with Mosharraf Karim in several dramas, which received a positive response from viewers. Drawing on those experiences, she is optimistic about their latest collaboration.
Director Sardar Rokon praised Mosharraf’s versatility and said working with the actor had also helped him learn as a filmmaker. He expressed satisfaction with Neela’s performance and said he was hopeful about the drama.
“Mosharraf Karim bhai is an exceptionally talented actor who has proved his versatility through a wide range of roles. I also learn a lot from working with him as a director. Neela has delivered an excellent performance in ‘Jamai Mane Jontrona’, and I am very hopeful about the project,” Rokon said.
Mosharraf Karim said Rokon had taken considerable care in making the drama and described the story as different from the usual fare. He also praised Neela’s efforts to improve her acting.
Neela said she initially felt nervous while working with Mosharraf but now enjoys collaborating with him.
“Working with Mosharraf Karim bhai means learning so much about acting. I used to feel quite nervous when I first worked with him, but over time, working alongside him has become increasingly enjoyable. I am very hopeful about ‘Jamai Mane Jontrona’,” she said.
Mosharraf’s previous drama under Rokon’s direction was ‘Bhangarir Boir Rajarani’. He has also worked with the director on ‘Radio Zainal’ and ‘Injection Matin’, both of which received appreciation from audiences.
Other dramas featuring Mosharraf and Neela include ‘Jamai Bou Oti Chalak’, ‘Babar Biye’, ‘Jamai Bou Asami’, ‘Fitfat Babu’ and ‘Bou Pagol Jamai’.
The makers hope their latest collaboration will also win over viewers when it premieres online.
