Singer and actress Kushum Shikder has returned to original music after nine years with her new song ‘Probol Ghor’, accompanied by a music video filmed in Cox’s Bazar.
Kushum wrote the lyrics, while Mahmud Sunny composed and arranged the music. Although the team recorded the song in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, it remained unreleased until now.
Her previous original song, ‘Nesha’, came out in 2017. Kushum said the response to that track encouraged her to return to original music.
Director Nakul Sharker filmed the music video at several scenic locations in Cox’s Bazar. He previously worked with Kushum on the music video for her rendition of Rabindra Sangeet ‘Tumi Kon Kanoner Phool’.
‘Probol Ghor’ marks the latest collaboration between the singer and the director. The music video is now available on Kushum’s Facebook page and YouTube.
