Shakib Khan’s Eid release ‘Antaratma’, which faltered at the box office due to limited promotion, is set for a second life on OTT. Streaming platform iScreen announced on Wednesday that the film will be available from December 4.

The platform confirmed the news via its official Facebook page, noting that audiences will finally be able to watch the emotional, action-driven drama online after its subdued theatrical run earlier this year.

Directed by Wazed Ali Sumon, the film stars Khan opposite West Bengal actor Darshana Banik. The story centres on Prottom (Khan), who grows up to be a feared yet lonely figure after his parents are murdered in his childhood. His life takes a turn when he meets Rupkotha (Banik), falls in love, and marries her, though tranquillity continues to elude him.

Shot in 2021 and originally planned for that year’s Eid-ul-Fitr, Antaratma faced unexplained delays and eventually released during Eid 2024 with virtually no promotional push. While Khan’s other Eid title, ‘Borbaad’, became a hit, Antaratma struggled; the film was withdrawn from multiplexes within its first week and drew minimal audiences in single-screen cinemas. Banik was the only cast member to actively promote the movie, doing so online as she was unable to travel to Bangladesh.

Produced by Sohani Hossain under Taranga Entertainment, the film features a supporting cast including Shahed Sharif Khan, Aruna Biswas and Jhuna Chowdhury.
