Arbaaz Khan, and his wife, make-up artist Sshura Khan, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, reports NDTV. Sshura was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Saturday, where she gave birth.
The happy news comes just weeks after the couple’s star-studded baby shower in last month, attended by close family and friends. The intimate celebration saw Sshura glowing in a yellow frilled gown while Arbaaz complemented her look in a matching yellow kurta. Salman Khan arrived in a black shirt, accompanied by family members and his security team.
The guest list also included Arpita Khan, Sohail Khan, and his son Nirvaan, along with Arbaaz’s elder son Arhaan Khan from his previous marriage to Malaika Arora. Iulia Vantur, Gauahar Khan, and several of the family’s close friends were among those present at the cheerful gathering.
Arbaaz, who tied the knot with Sshura in December 2023 in a private ceremony, had earlier confirmed his wife’s pregnancy. Speaking to Etimes, the actor-producer shared, “Yes, it is there. I’m not denying that information because right now it’s something that is out there. My family knows about it. People have got to know about it, and it’s fine. It’s a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We’re going to welcome this new life into our lives.”
Reflecting on becoming a father again at 57, Arbaaz said, “It’s a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I’m excited, I’m happy, and I’m looking forward to it. It’s just giving me a new sense of happiness, and responsibility. I’m kind of liking that.”
This marks the actor’s second time embracing fatherhood. He was previously married to actor Malaika Arora for two decades before their divorce in 2019. The former couple share a son, Arhaan Khan, now 22.
Arbaaz’s family, and friends have since been pouring in their congratulations for the couple as they begin this new chapter of their lives.
