BTS have briefly reunited in South Korea, but their stay will not last long. A report from Star News reveals that the septet: RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook are preparing for a long-anticipated comeback, with plans to film the music video for their new track in the US.
The members are currently focused on shaping their next album, which is expected to arrive in March 2026.
The group had recently wrapped up a two-month creative session in Los Angeles, working closely with prominent producers and songwriters. In a recent livestream, Jungkook explained that while recording hasn’t started yet, the team has been concentrating on refining the production of their songs.
An industry source shared that “BTS will be heading back to the US soon to shoot the music video for their comeback track. The overall direction, including concept, theme and visuals, has already been locked in and the recording process is underway.”
This project will mark BTS’ first official release in over three years, following their 10th-anniversary single ‘Take Two’ in June 2023.
While the main album is likely scheduled for March 2026, fans may get a pre-release single ahead of time, continuing a pattern the group has followed for past comebacks.
If reports hold true, BTS will also embark on a massive world tour after the album’s release, marking their return to the stage for the first time since the free Busan concert in October 2022 and the conclusion of their Permission to Dance on Stage shows earlier that year.
