Despite his long career, Bappa Mazumder has performed very few solo concerts. He held his first solo concert in 2022, followed by a second show in February 2024. He also performed a solo show in July last year, but it was held on a smaller scale.
Now, after around two and a half years, Bappa is returning with a large-scale solo concert. Titled Moonlight Melodies, the concert will be held on 9 October at the Krishibid Institution auditorium in the capital.
The singer announced the concert himself on the night of 13 September. He shared the poster on social media and urged his fans to save the date. The concert is being organised by an organisation called Mavix.
Ticket sales have not started yet. The ticket prices and other terms and conditions will be announced when sales begin soon.
News of Bappa’s solo concert has already excited his fans. Many have expressed their enthusiasm in the comments on his Facebook post and said they plan to attend.
Bappa has continued making music even after completing more than three decades in the industry. Alongside releasing new songs, he remains connected with listeners through concerts and various instrumental works.
