Popular singer Sania Sultana Liza continues to receive praise for her recent original songs Tumi Bihon and Tomar Rodela Akashe.

Liza first gained widespread attention early in her professional music career with the song Bhool Kore Jodi Kokhono. The song remains one of the works audiences most commonly associate with her, although she has since released many other original songs.

Liza is also one of the busiest female singers of her generation on the stage circuit. She regularly performs at concerts across the country and is equally conscious of her appearance at television shows, stage programmes and social events.

Known for her sweet and melodious voice, Liza often receives repeated invitations to perform after appearing at a stage show. She said she enjoys accepting such opportunities when her schedule allows, as music remains where she feels most comfortable.

Her latest original song, Tumi Bihon, was written and composed by Jisan Khan Shuvo. The melodic romantic track has received a positive response from listeners.

Before that, Liza released Tomar Rodela Akashe, in which she performed with Anik Sutradhar. Lalon Lohani wrote the song, while Nazir Mahmud composed the music. The sweet romantic track has also been well received.

“I always love being immersed in music. Whether it is a stage show, television or radio programme, or simply spending time singing and talking with others, music is always at the centre of my life. I identify myself as an artiste, so my comfort and happiness revolve around music,” Liza said.

She added that she has received a good response to her two recent original songs and continues to perform on stage throughout the year while trying to release original music regularly.

“Although I have very few songs in films, I have no regrets about it. I am grateful and satisfied with whatever I have,” she said.
