Streaming platform Hoichoi has unveiled the first poster of its upcoming Bangladesh original series Headline, directed by Saleh Sobhan Auneem. The series is set to premiere worldwide on June 25.
Released across Hoichoi Bangladesh’s social media platforms on Thursday morning, the poster features Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Yash Rohan dressed in black tuxedos and bow ties, their intense expressions hinting at a relentless pursuit of hidden truths.
The visual depicts the duo emerging through layers of old newspapers, suggesting an investigation into a long-buried and potentially explosive story. The surrounding stacks of newsprint reinforce themes of journalism and inquiry, while the dark colour palette and enigmatic atmosphere add to the intrigue surrounding the series.
Alongside Apurba and Yash, the cast includes Afsan Ara Bindu, Sarika Subrin, Farhana Hamid, Ornil Birol and Raii Rajanyaa, among others.
Speaking about the project, director Auneem said the series was created as a source of comfort amid the uncertainties of modern life.
“We wanted to tell the kind of story we grew up watching and the kind of work that still remains close to our hearts. While Headline appears to revolve around journalism and investigation, at its core it is a family drama,” he said.
Hoichoi Bangladesh Country Director Sakib R Khan said the platform remains committed to bringing thought-provoking content to audiences.
“Headline is one such series. We believe Auneem’s directorial craftsmanship and compelling screenplay will keep viewers engaged throughout,” he said.
More details about the mystery behind Headline are expected to be revealed ahead of its June 25 release exclusively on Hoichoi.
