BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed was admitted to Square Hospital in the capital on Tuesday.
His personal assistant, Arifur Rahman Tushar, stated that Rizvi was taken to the hospital around 3pm after experiencing breathing difficulties.
Tushar also mentioned that Rizvi has been suffering from fever, cold, and respiratory issues for the past few days.
On behalf of Rizvi and his family, Tushar urged people across the country to pray for the BNP leader’s swift recovery.
