Sheikh Solaiman first drew attention on social media through his soulful flute performances. Listeners at home and abroad became captivated by his melodies. Whether by the river or on the edge of a wide village field, he would play the flute and sing earthy folk tunes with a full voice, often moving audiences deeply.
Inspired by his singing, noted artiste Lutfor Hasan composed a duet titled ‘Amra Jara Dekhte Kalo’, which the duo performed together. However, Solaiman’s fans longed to hear him in a solo track.
That wish has now come true with ‘Cholche Gari Jatrabari’, written and composed by Sochol Pagol Sujon and arranged by Purno Milon.
The song has been gaining attention since its release. “I had been wanting an original song of my own for a long time,” Solaiman said. “I found the perfect lyrics and tune from Sochol Pagol Sujon and the audience is responding warmly. I feel very optimistic about it.”
Shot in a rustic town setting, the music video carries the fragrance of the soil and the simplicity of rural life. The track has been released on Solaiman’s official YouTube channel and is also streaming on various audio platforms at home and abroad.
