Xiaomi is set to host a musical event titled ‘mAhx Republic’ in Dhaka on 25 September to celebrate the launch of its REDMI Note 17 Series and bring together music, entertainment and technology enthusiasts.
The event, sponsored by Xiaomi, will take place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal, Dhaka, featuring performances by popular Bangladeshi and regional artists, the company said in a press release.
The REDMI Note 17 Series includes three smartphones — REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G and REDMI Note 17 4G.
The concert will feature performances from Nagarbaul’s James, Mustafa Zahid featuring Roxen, Jal The Band, Ali Azmat of Junoon, Nemesis, Level Five and Shironamhin.
Gates for the event will open at 2:00 pm, allowing attendees to enjoy a musical night designed around the spirit of the new smartphone series.
Tickets are available through the Tickify website. Customers purchasing a REDMI Note 17 Series device will receive a complimentary concert ticket along with other offers, Xiaomi said.
The company said the initiative aims to bring the Xiaomi fan community together by combining technology, music and entertainment beyond the smartphone experience.
Xiaomi Corporation, founded in April 2010 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2018, is a consumer electronics and smart manufacturing company. Xiaomi began operations in Bangladesh on 17 July 2018 and has established itself as one of the leading smartphone brands in the country.
