Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his wife Zubaida Rahman attended a dinner in New York on Tuesday night hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for world leaders taking part in the 81st United Nations General Assembly.
The dinner took place at the Lotte New York Palace hotel, with heads of state and government and their spouses present, UNB reports.
Earlier that morning, Tarique and Zubaida joined a breakfast hosted by UN Secretary‑General António Guterres for leaders and their spouses.
The PM is in New York for the 81st UNGA, where he is scheduled to deliver his first address to the global body on Thursday.
