vivo has teased the launch of its upcoming Y500 smartphone in Bangladesh, positioning it around extended battery life and entertainment as competition in the mid-range smartphone market intensifies.
The company said the Y500 will feature an 8,100mAh BlueVolt battery, which it claims is the largest in its segment, to support prolonged streaming, gaming, browsing and daily use without frequent recharging.
The smartphone will also feature a 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display, which vivo said is designed to deliver sharper visuals and richer details for video streaming, social media and mobile gaming.
According to the company, the Y500 has been developed to meet growing demand for smartphones that can handle both productivity and entertainment throughout the day, reflecting changing consumer usage patterns.
The device will join vivo’s Y-series lineup, which targets value-conscious smartphone users, with the company saying more details about the launch will be announced soon.
