Starcom Bangladesh has won two Silver awards at the UK-based Creativepool Annual Awards 2026 for its Samsung campaign “An Ad That Erases Ads”, marking recognition for the country’s advertising industry on the global creative stage.

The agency secured Silver in both categories it entered, with the award being the highest honour given in each category this year, Starcom Bangladesh said in a press release.

The campaign was developed to showcase Samsung’s Object Eraser tool, an artificial intelligence feature available on its mid-range A Series smartphones. Instead of using a conventional advertisement to promote the feature, Starcom Bangladesh created an interactive experience that allowed users to circle unwanted advertisements and erase them from a webpage, similar to removing unwanted objects from photos.

The campaign demonstrated the AI feature through user interaction, with the website, surrounding advertisements and the experience itself working together to turn advertising clutter into part of the communication.

The recognition adds to nine awards won by Starcom Bangladesh for the campaign at Commward and Digital Marketing Award 2026, strengthening the agency’s presence in international creative competitions.

Starcom Bangladesh, part of the global Starcom network, Publicis Media and BITOPI Group, combines media, technology and creativity to develop consumer experiences, the agency said.

RH Shajeeb, Director of Starcom Bangladesh, said the team aimed to make communication around an AI feature feel less like “just another feature” and more like a useful human experience.

He added that the campaign was a collective effort involving idea development, media selection, technology and execution, turning a simple observation into an experience for users.

The latest achievement follows Starcom Bangladesh’s Creativepool recognition in 2025 for its Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra campaign, “Summaries, Just Like That!”. Both campaigns reflect the agency’s focus on transforming product features into engaging consumer experiences.
