Industry leaders, professionals and emerging talents from Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector gathered at an event titled ‘Inspiration Powered by Eco Threads & Yarns’ to share leadership insights, exchange knowledge and discuss sustainability and the future of the industry.
Dongyi Sourcing Limited (DSL) presented the signature leadership and knowledge-sharing event, organised by Textile Focus, on Sunday at Noorul Quader Auditorium, BGMEA Bhaban, Uttara, Dhaka, reads a press release.
The event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including M Ishfaq Ahsan CIP, director of BKMEA and managing director of Ahsan Group; Mohammad Sohel Sadat, chairman of Shin Shin Group; Md Mofazzal Hosen Pavel, former president of BGBA and managing director and CEO of Dongyi Sourcing Ltd.; ATM Mahbubul Alam Milton, executive director of Masco Group; Rafiqul Islam Rowly, managing director and co-founder of CSL Software Limited; and Md Amanur Rahman, managing director of Dysin Group.
Other speakers included Shakhawat Hossain, CEO of the Threads and Accessories Department at DBL Group; Paritosh Chandra Das, director of Dongyi Sourcing Limited; Dewan Mahbub Kamran, executive director of Pretty Group; Md Shahin Akter, director and CEO of ESPITEX; and SK Md Salim Hossain, GM, Sales and Marketing (Head of Spinning and Yarn Dyeing) at Akij Textile Mills Ltd.
Mohammad Ashraful Islam, editor and CEO of Textile Focus, coordinated the event.

The event concluded with a colourful fashion show by Yourself Foundation, along with surprise gifts and fun activities.
More than 650 people, including final-year textile engineering students from different campuses and professionals from various industries, attended the event to hear from the speakers.
