Three international trade expos covering construction, woodworking, interior solutions and renewable energy will begin on Thursday at the Expo Village of International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
The 10th Bangladesh BUILDCON Expo 2026, 10th Bangladesh WOOD International Expo 2026 with Interior & Exterior Expo and SOLAR BANGLA Renewable Energy Expo 2026 will continue until 19 September.
According to a press release, the events are being organised by ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade & Events Pvt Ltd, with Interior Design Bangladesh (IDB) as the knowledge partner.
Giasuddin Haider, director general of Public Works Department and Housing and Building Research Institute, will inaugurate the expos as chief guest.
The three-day events will bring together stakeholders from construction, furniture, woodworking, interior design and renewable energy sectors to showcase new technologies, products and business opportunities.
“Stakeholders can explore the latest construction technologies, building materials, interior solutions, solar products, woodworking machinery and furniture supplies under one roof,” said Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, managing director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions.
He said the construction sector is increasingly looking for technologies that can reduce costs, improve efficiency and support environmentally friendly solutions, while the furniture industry needs modern technology to improve product quality and production capacity.
The expos will feature a range of products and solutions, including construction equipment, concrete block machines, construction chemicals, ceramics, cables, pipes and fittings, hardware, locks, power tools, software, solar equipment, kitchen appliances, home automation solutions and aluminium panels.
The woodworking exhibition will focus on machinery and technologies aimed at helping manufacturers modernise production and improve efficiency.
Interior Design Bangladesh will organise a seminar titled “ARCH INTERIOR BRIDGE-2026” on 19 September, featuring architects N R Khan and Tanya Karim.
The session will focus on strengthening collaboration between architecture and interior design professionals.
The organisers said the expos will also provide opportunities for business networking, technology exchange and investment discussions among local and international participants.
The exhibitions will remain open for business visitors from 11am to 7pm on all three days.
